The Red Wolves have connections to two of the teams headed to the NAIA Division II Men's Basketball National Championship.

IU East played against Oregon Tech and Indiana University Southeast, who both qualified the 32-team field that will assemble March 10-16 in Point Lookout, Mo.

Oregon Tech is the No. 2 seed. IU Southeast is the No. 5 seed.

IU East gave Oregon Tech (29-4) its closest home game of the regular season, falling 82-78 against the Hustlin' Owls on Oct. 31 in Klamath Falls, Ore.

The Red Wolves split a pair of meetings against IU Southeast (25-4). IU Southeast beat IU East 101-71 on Jan. 6 in New Albany. The Red Wolves beat a shorthanded Grenadiers team 88-72 on Feb. 20.

Walsh (Ohio) is the No. 1 seed for the NAIA Division II Men's Basketball National Championship.

Oklahoma Wesleyan is the defending champion.
