Red Wolves - IU East

The Indiana University East men's golf and women's track and field teams both finished second in their respective Kentucky Intercollegiate Athletic Conference preseason polls.

The KIAC released the league's preseason spring sports polls on Jan. 27.

All of IU East's spring sports were picked to finish in the top four.

The men's golf team was picked to finish second behind three-time defending champion Brescia University. IU East most recently won a KIAC men's golf title in 2008.

The men's golf team opens its spring season March 23 at the Brescia University Spring Shootout.

The women's track and field team was picked to finish second behind two-time defending champion Berea College. The Red Wolves finished second at the 2011 KIAC meet with a three-woman team.

The Red Wolves men's track and field team was third in the league's preseason poll. IU East finished third at the 2011 KIAC meet.

Two-time defending champion Berea was the unanimous selection for the top spot.

The track and field teams open their season March 17 at the Wabash College J.O. Huntsman Relays.

The IU East men's tennis team was picked to finish fourth in the KIAC.

The Red Wolves were fifth in their inaugural season last spring.

Reigning KIAC men's tennis champion Brescia was the No. 1 selection.

IU East opens its spring men's tennis season March 2 at Saint Joseph's College.
