Red Wolves - IU East

WOOSTER, Ohio - Kristin Smith shot a season-best 118 to lead the Indiana University East women's golf team at the College of Wooster Invitational at Wooster Country Club on April 7.

Walsh won the tournament with a 351 on the par 72, 5,802-yard course.

IU East was unable to field a full team.

"Kristin's first few holes set the tone for the day," said IU East coach Von Ebeling. "She was confident throughout the round and showed great improvement."

Ohio Wesleyan's Courtney Tincher was medalist with an 84.

IU East plays April 14 at the Manchester College Spring Invitational.
