
RICHMOND, Ind. - The Indiana University East men's tennis team fell 7-2 against NCAA Division II opponent Oakland City University on April 9 at Glen Miller Park.
The Red Wolves fell to 2-9. The Mighty Oaks are 4-3.
IU East freshman Ty Butler (Wadesville, Ind./North Posey High School) won at No. 1 singles and teamed with redshirt sophomore Adam Derengowski (Richmond, Ind./Richmond High School) for a win at No. 1 doubles.
IU East improved on its showing in a 9-0 loss at Oakland City on April 1 and was two tiebreakers away from winning two additional matches.
The Red Wolves play at crosstown opponent Earlham College on April 12.
