Red Wolves - IU East

The Indiana University East women's golf team competes at the Manchester College Spring Invitational at Honeywell Golf Course in Wabash, Ind., on April 14.

IU East also competed at a Manchester event in the fall. It's the only site where IU East is playing in both the fall and spring.

LAST TIME OUT

IU East competed at the College of Wooster Invitational on April 7. The Red Wolves were unable to post a team score.

SCOUTING THE OPPOSITION

The host Spartans should rank among the top teams at this event. Manchester won its own event in the fall of 2010 and was third in the fall of 2011.

PLAYER TO WATCH

IU East freshman Kristin Smith (Richmond, Ind./Centerville High School) led IU East with a 118 on April 7, a 12-stroke improvement from her first two rounds of 2012.

NUMBERS OF NOTE

This is the last 18-hole event of the IU East women's golf spring season.
