Red Wolves - IU East

The Indiana University East men's golf team concludes its regular season at the Cincinnati Christian University Spring Invitational at Miami Whitewater in Harrison, Ohio, on April 19 and 20.

MILESTONE MARKER

IU East is making its fourth trip to CCU's spring invitational. The Red Wolves have never finished lower than third at CCU's tournament.

LAST TIME OUT

IU East finished eighth at the Taylor University Invitational held April 9 and 10 at Purdue University's Kampen Course.

The Red Wolves finished third at the 2011 CCU Spring Invitational.

SCOUTING THE OPPOSITION

Cincinnati Christian won the 2011 CCU Spring Invitational with a two-day score of 631.

Fellow Kentucky Intercollegiate Athletic Conference programs Asbury and Berea are expected to join IU East and CCU in the tournament field.

PLAYERS TO WATCH

Redshirt freshman Joey Smart (Brookville, Ind./Morehead State University) can bolster his bid for KIAC Player of the Year with a strong performance against conference opponents.

NUMBERS OF NOTE

IU East's previous best 36-hole team score on the Miami Whitewater course is 664.
