
MARION, Ind. - Indiana University East distance runners Seth Prince and Aaron Myers broke school records during the Indiana Wesleyan University Invitational on April 21.
Prince (Albany, Ind./Delta High School), a freshman, lowered his own 5,000 meter run school record to 16:39.99.
Myers (Lynn, Ind./Randolph Southern High School), a sophomore, lowered his 3,000 meter steeplechase school record to 12:08.93.
Redshirt senior Vanessa Legg (Lynn, Ind./Randolph Southern High School) was second in the heptathlon with a score of 3,071.
Redshirt junior Kait Ervin (West Alexandria, Ohio/Twin Valley South High School) was fourth in the discus with a throw of 34.63 meters (about 113-7).
Team scores were not kept.
IU East competes at the Kentucky Intercollegiate Athletic Conference meet April 28 at Berea College.
