Red Wolves - IU East

Indiana University East track and field athletes Seth Prince and Vanessa Legg received Kentucky Intercollegiate Athletic Conference athlete of the week honors, the league announced April 23.

Prince (Albany, Ind./Delta High School), a freshman, finished ninth and set a school record in the 5000 meter run with a time of 16:39.99 at the Indiana Wesleyan University Invitational on April 21.

Legg (Lynn, Ind./Randolph Southern High School), a redshirt senior, finished second in the heptathlon at the IWU Invitational.

It's the second KIAC weekly honor for Prince and 11th for Legg.

The Red Wolves compete at the KIAC meet April 28 at Berea College.
