
The Indiana University East men's golf team competes at the Kentucky Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Championships on April 26 and 27 at StoneCrest Golf Course in Prestonburg, Ky.
The team champion and individual medalist at the 54-hole event advance to the NAIA Men's Golf National Championship May 22-25 at Creekside Country Club in Salem, Oreg.

IU East seeks its first KIAC title since 2008 and its first NAIA Men's Golf National Championship qualifiers.
LAST TIME OUT
IU East finished third with a shorthanded roster at the Cincinnati Christian University Invitational on April 19 and 20.
The Red Wolves were fourth at the 2011 KIAC Championships.
SCOUTING THE OPPOSITION
Brescia University has won the last three KIAC tournament titles and has posted the best results among KIAC schools at spring tournaments this year.
PLAYERS TO WATCH
IU East redshirt freshman Joey Smart (Brookville, Ind./Morehead State University) is in the running for KIAC Player of the Year.
Red Wolves freshman Luke Warren (Vallonia, Ind./Brownstown Central High School) has posted scores that would put him in the running for conference medalist.
NUMBERS OF NOTE
This is the first 54-hole KIAC Championship of IU East's NAIA existence. Past KIAC tournaments involving IU East have been 18 holes or 36 holes.
