The numbers tell the story of one of the most improved NAIA men's tennis teams in Indiana.

The Indiana University East men's tennis team finished its 2011-12 season as the second-most-improved NAIA men's tennis program in the state, based on winning percentage.

The Red Wolves doubled their win total in the program's second season.

IU East also produced its first Kentucky Intercollegiate Athletic Conference tournament victory and its first all-KIAC men's tennis player in freshman Ty Butler (Wadesville, Ind./North Posey High School).

Butler led IU East with six singles victories.

Butler and freshman Brian Luke (Connersville, Ind./Connersville High School) both accounted for seven doubles wins apiece.
