The Indiana University East women's track and field athletes established six school records during the 2012 season.
Redshirt senior Vanessa Legg (Lynn, Ind./Randolph Southern High School) graduated as the Red Wolves' record holder in eight events, including new records in the 400 meter dash and javelin established during the 2012 season.
Individual records also were established by redshirt junior Kait Ervin (West Alexandria, Ohio/Twin Valley South High School) in the hammer, freshman Andrea Brower (Eaton, Ohio/Eaton High School) in the shot put and freshman Kesla Klingler (Hollansburg, Ohio/Tri-Village High School) in the 800 meter run.
IU East's five-woman team concluded its third season with its second consecutive second-place finish in the Kentucky Intercollegiate Athletic Conference meet.
Legg (javelin), Brower (shot put) and Ervin (discus) all won KIAC individual titles.
Legg was named KIAC Women's Track and Field Athlete of the Year for the second consecutive season.
