The Indiana University East men's track and field athletes established 10 school records during the 2012 season.

Freshmen Brandon Muncie (Indianapolis, Ind./Lawrence North High School) and Seth Prince (Albany, Ind./Delta High School) set two individual records apiece.

Muncie set school records in the long jump and triple jump.

Prince broke the school records in the 5000 meter run and 10,000 meter run.

Individual records also were established by Cory McKinney (Eaton, Ohio/Eaton High School) in the hammer, sophomore Aaron Myers (Lynn, Ind./Randolph Southern High School) in the 3000 meter steeplechase, redshirt freshman Josiah Lemons (Richmond, Ind./Richmond High School) in the 200 meter dash and freshman Trevor Tucker in the 100 meter dash.

IU East concluded its second season with a third-place finish at the Kentucky Intercollegiate Athletic Conference meet.

Muncie (long jump), Tucker (100), Lemons (200) and McKinney (hammer) all won KIAC individual titles.

Lemons and Muncie became the first IU East track and field athletes to qualify for the NAIA Outdoor Track and Field National Championships.
