Josh Cook's defensive effort at Indiana University Southeast on Jan. 3 is the IU East Athletics Photo of the Year.

The photo of Cook flying high for a blocked shot drew the highest number of votes in an online fan poll.

The back-and-forth voting between Cook's fans and the supporters of a photo of women's tennis No. 2 doubles team Paige Froman and Cheltsi Hinners attracted more than 2,700 votes.

The nominees for IU East Athletics Photo of the Year were determined in online sport-by-sport voting throughout the summer.
