The Indiana University East volleyball team is 25th in the Tachikara-NAIA Volleyball Coaches' Preseason Top 25 poll released Aug. 14.

It's the highest preseason ranking for IU East. The Red Wolves were 29th in the 2011 Tachikara-NAIA Volleyball Coaches' postseason poll

IU East is coming off of a 37-9 season capped by the program's third consecutive trip to the NAIA Volleyball National Championship.

Reigning national champion Texas at Brownsville was the No. 1 selection.

Two of IU East's Kentucky Intercollegiate Athletic Conference opponents received votes in the preseason poll. KIAC newcomer Point Park is 32nd. Asbury, which shared the 2011 KIAC regular season title with IU East is 40th
