Red Wolves - IU East

The Indiana University East men's and women's tennis teams host the University of Saint Francis Aug. 23 at Glen Miller Park.

The matches start at noon.

It's the season opener for both programs.

LAST TIME OUT

The IU East women are coming off of a 13-6 season and the Red Wolves men were 6-13.

The Saint Francis women were 5-9 and the Cougar men were 1-12.

The IU East men edged Saint Francis 5-4 in August of 2011. It's the first women's tennis meeting between the Red Wolves and Cougars.

IU EAST STORYLINES

The fall season is the main season for the IU East women's tennis team.

The men's team plays a short fall season in preparation for its main season in the spring

SCOUTING THE OPPOSITION

Saint Francis junior No. 1 singles and doubles player Chelsea Selking was an all-conference player in 2011-12.

The Saint Francis men's team returns its full roster plus one freshman.
