A final foursome will wrap up the fall golf season for the Indiana University East men's golf team.

Four players will represent IU East on Oct. 13 at the Wittenburg Men's Fall Invitational at Windy Knoll Golf Club in Springfield.

The tournament tees off at 8:30 a.m.

The Red Wolves will be part of a field of 86 golfers, with 14 teams representing 12 schools, plus a host of individual competitors.

Sophomore Riley McGinsie (Indianapolis, Ind./Beech Grove High School) will play in the No. 1 slot for IU East.

"Riley continues to play steady," Red Wolves coach Von Ebeling said.

Derrick McNeely (Connersville, Ind./Connersville High School) will play in the No. 2 spot.

"I consider Derrick the practice player of the year," Ebeling said. "He rarely misses practice and enjoys challenging himself on other courses."

Holden Smith (New Paris, Ohio/National Trail High School) will play in the No. 3 spot.

"Holden Smith is best at using his resources to find help where he can," Ebeling said. "This will be Holden's third invitational. As a freshman, he has found out how stiff the competition is at the intercollegiate level and what to keep his focus to help the team."

Kacey Stollar (Greenville, Ohio/The Villages (Fla.) High School) will round out the IU East lineup.

"Kacey is coming off of a medical procedure on his side," Ebeling said. "He finally had his stitches removed and is ready for competition."

The IU East golf teams take play a short fall schedule in preparation for the regular season in the spring.
