
The Red Wolves made the most of the final day of the men's fall golf season.
Three Indiana University East golfers played 36 holes on Oct. 13 at the Wittenburg Men's Fall Invitational at Windy Knoll Golf Club in Springfield, Ohio.
Sophomore Riley McGinsie (Indianapolis, Ind./Beech Grove High School) led IU East with a 171, with rounds of 88 and 83. McGinsie finished 60th.
Freshman Holden Smith (New Paris, Ohio/National Trail High
School) rounded out the IU East lineup with a 195, including a season-best
18-hole round of 94 in the morning round. Smith was 81st.
Freshman Derrick McNeely (Connersville, Ind./Connersville High School) carded a 198 after identical rounds of 99. He finished 82nd.
Greg Elber of Ohio Dominican University was medalist with a 147.
Wittenburg was the team champion with a 598.
