HILLSDALE, Mich. - Seth Reynolds won the 110 meter hurdles portion of the decathlon at the Hillsdale College Last Chance Classic held May 10 and 11.

Reynolds finished seventh in the 10-event competition with a score of 5547, good for the 36th-best decathlon score in the NAIA this season.

Reynolds also was second in the 400 meter dash and third in the high jump portions of the competition. He broke his own high jump school record with a leap of 1.87 meters. He became the first IU East track and field athlete to compete in a decathlon.

Keegan Kilfoil-Barnes also made the trip to Hillsdale and finished fourth in the long jump.

Reynolds now begins preparations for the NAIA Outdoor Track and Field National Championships in Gulf Shores, Ala. Reynolds has qualified for the national meet in the 110 meter hurdles. Preliminaries for the 110 meter hurdles are on May 26. The final is May 27.
