* Bre Kopke represented IU East on the all-tournament team.

* IU East held off late charges by Martin Methodist in the first and third sets of the morning match to earn its second win of the season.

* William Carey won the last four points of the pivotal third set to swipe away the momentum in the afternoon match.

* Kopke and Lexi Gentry both tallied double digits in kills in both matches.

* Samantha Wigfield recorded double digits in digs in both matches.

"I thought we had a great day today. Got a win in the morning and really fought in the afternoon game. I see a lot of progress from this group in the first two weekends out. We're batting a few injuries that are forcing us to make changes in the lineup, and they are taking it in stride." - IU East coach Abby Niekamp

IU East's next match is the Red Wolves' home opener. IU East will host Marian University at 7 p.m. on Lingle Court. Red Wolf fans are invited to arrive early for a free pre-match tailgate.
