IU East's tennis teams defeated Holy Cross.

RICHMOND, Ind. - The Indiana University East tennis teams both won 7-2 against Holy Cross College on Oct. 1 on the Kyle Tom Courts at Glen Miller Park.

The IU East women are 3-0 and the men are 3-1. The Holy Cross men are 3-1 and the women are 0-4.

* IU East women's No. 2 singles Kaylin Venezia and No. 3 singles Brooklyn Hubbard both rallied to win after dropping the first set.

* A doubles sweep propelled the IU East men.

* Brooklyn Hubbard, Bri Ayres, Krystal Schmidt and Shelby Good won in singles and doubles for the IU East women.

* Max Faundez, Hunter Wilson and Keaton Akers won in singles and doubles for the IU East men.
