IU East earned a 5-3 win against Cedarville.

RICHMOND, Ind./HAMILTON, Ohio - The Indiana University East women's tennis team continued its unbeaten fall season with a 5-3 victory against NCAA Division II opponent Cedarville University on Oct. 10.

The match concluded at Riverside Athletic Club after dinnertime rains in the Richmond area.

IU East is 5-0. Cedarville is 2-4.

KEY MOMENTS

* IU East won the two doubles matches completed outdoors on the Kyle Tom Courts at Glen Miller Park and then made it a doubles sweep when Brooklyn Hubbard and Shelby Good wrapped up their No. 2 doubles win at Riverside.

* No. 3 singles Brooklyn Hubbard and No. 5 singles Krystal Schmidt delivered the two singles victories the Red Wolves needed to clinch the team victory.

NUMBER OF NOTE

* It was IU East's first win against Cedarville in six tries.

* Brooklyn Hubbard improved her fall singles record to 7-1.
