The Player of the Week is the Player of the Year.
Indiana University East freshman middle hitter Breezy Strete (Troy, Ohio/Troy High School) received the Kentucky Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Player of the Week honor for the week of Nov. 8-14, the conference announced Nov. 16.
Strete was named the KIAC Player of the Year following the league tournament Nov. 13-14.
Strete broke a school single-match record with 26 kills against University of Northwestern Ohio on Nov. 10.
Strete followed up that performance with 33 kills in the KIAC Tournament over three matches in her team's run to the title.
It's the second consecutive KIAC weekly honor for Strete.
Strete and the Red Wolves (31-10) play at Taylor University on Nov. 21 in an NAIA National Championship Opening Round contest.
