Red Wolves - IU East

The plan was for the Indiana University East men's golf team to travel to the Boys & Girls Club of Wayne County on Dec. 8 to tutor youngsters after their school day.

The staff members and the children had other ideas.

The golfers were directed to a downstairs gymnasium - where about 40 youngsters were waiting, with about 20 rubber balls.

There was a new plan, and it was called dodge ball!

IU East golfers Nick Ary, Riley McGinsie and Holden Smith had plenty of confidence leading up to the start of play.

But when the game started and the balls started flying, sweat was pouring down the Red Wolves' faces.

Before long, the golfers knew things were getting serious - and they were in for it!

"All in all everyone survived - and had a great time enjoying the activity," said IU East men's golf coach Von Ebeling.
