There's no time to fret.

The Indiana University East men's basketball team returns to action Feb. 6 at NCAA Division III foe College of Mount St. Joseph's.

The Red Wolves (12-10, 4-4) are coming off of a 94-81 setback Feb. 4 at Asbury College.

The loss dropped IU East from a tie for second to a tie for fourth in the Kentucky Intercollegiate Athletic Conference standings.

College of Mount St. Joseph (8-12) has lost five in a row overall and nine of its last 10.

"Coming off of a tough loss, the keys are communication as a team, and we have to be focused and ready, even though we didn't know much about them until (Feb. 5)," said senior forward Jacobe Edmondson (Indianapolis, Ind./Ancilla College).

"It starts with communication, and it starts with the bigs since we see everything in front of us."

Edmondson and the Red Wolves will see senior wing Michael Romes is the Lions' most productive player.

Romes leads College of Mount St. Joseph in scoring (19.9 points per game) and rebounding (7.1 rebounds per game).

Romes also ranks in the NCAA Division III top 100 in field goal percentage at .550.

Junior guard Tyler Rigby (Bryant, Ind./Jay County High School) leads IU East with 19.3 points per game.

Rigby has scored at least 20 points in 12 consecutive games.

He needs 33 points to become the first IU East player to score 1,000 career points in NAIA competition.

Sophomore guard David Sanders (Indianapolis, Ind./Beech Grove High School) contributes 9.4 points per game and is 35th in the NAIA Division II in assists per game with 4.3

Senior guard Bijon Jones (Jackson, Tenn./Southeast Missouri State University) is coming off of a 24-point, 12-rebound, four-assist performance against Asbury.

He ranks 38th in the NAIA Division II in 3-point field goal percentage at .416.

The Red Wolves hope to improve on their 3-7 record in true road games.

This is the first meeting between the Red Wolves and Lions since IU East joined the NAIA for the 2007-08 season.
