The Indiana University East volleyball team bagged a Tiger on Feb. 18.

Warsaw Community High School senior Sarah Shilling signed a letter of intent to play for the Red Wolves starting with the 2010-11 season.

"Sarah is a high-level kid and a great fit for our program," said IU East coach Charlie Brown.

Shilling is 6 feet tall and can play middle blocker or outside hitter.

Shilling was an All-Northern Lakes Conference selection during her senior season with the Warsaw volleyball program.

She helped the Tigers to a 29-5 record this past fall, with all of the losses to state-ranked teams.

Shilling also is a standout on the Warsaw basketball team. And she reached the Indiana track and field state finals in the shot put as a junior.

Shilling joins an IU East volleyball program coming off of a 30-12 season that included Kentucky Intercollegiate Athletic Conference regular season and tournament titles.

The Red Wolves also made the program's first appearance in the NAIA National Championships.
