The Red Wolves are coming home, and they're bringing a perfect record with them.
The Indiana University East volleyball team plays its home opener at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Richmond High School Tiernan Center against Miami University Middletown.
The Red Wolves are off to a 7-0 start. MU Middletown is 1-0.
"We're hoping everyone will come out and support us," IU East coach Charlie Brown said. "These girls have worked very hard, and they are by far the best team in the history of IU East volleyball.
"This first home match will be an exciting match for us. We've got a lot of energy coming into this one because this will be the first time on the home court for a lot of these girls."
The Red Wolves rank in the NAIA's top 50 in hitting percentage, kills per game and aces per game. Freshman setter Lauren Crump leads the Kentucky Intercollegiate Athletic Conference in assists per game.
