Red Wolves - IU East

RICHMOND, Ind. - Indiana University East freshman Carlie Rider (Eaton, Ohio/Eaton High School) is the Kentucky Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Runner of the Week for the week of Oct. 11-17, the league announced Oct. 18.

Rider lowered her own 5K school record to 20:45 during the Wilmington College Fall Classic on Oct. 15. It was the fastest time in the KIAC this past weekend and the second-fastest time in the KIAC this season.

Rider finished 80th in the field of 319.

Rider also was KIAC Runner of the Week for the week of Sept. 20. She now holds the top three times in school history.

The Red Wolves run again Oct. 30 at the Late Knights Run in Grayson, Ky.
