FORT WAYNE - The Indiana University East men's basketball developmental squad fell 77-75 in overtime at Indiana Institute of Technology on Nov. 10.
The Warriors made a shot in the final seconds to take the lead. The Red Wolves had a potential game-winning 3-pointer at the buzzer, but the shot didn't connect.
"The guys stepped up and played hard and finished hard," said IU East developmental squad coach Von Ebeling.
IU East had just seven players available, with only six fully healthy.
Stephen Jones led IU East with 29 points and 13 rebounds.
Terrell Johnson had 19 points and 12 rebounds.
Austin Chisolm contributed eight points and 11 rebounds.
Cory Noelker scored six points.
Jeremy Combs and Darryle Sims had two points apiece.
IU East's developmental squad is in its second season.
The program was added to give additional student-athletes an opportunity to play basketball at the college level and to develop potential varsity players.
The team's next game is Nov. 22 at Bluffton College.
