LAST TIME OUT
IU East is coming off of a third-place finish at the Mike Rokicki Community Versus Cancer Challenge at DePauw University.
The Red Wolves fell 72-64 against Ohio Wesleyan University in their tournament opener Nov. 27.
IU East bounced back to beat Rockford College 87-67 on Nov. 28.
IUPUI is coming off of a 58-55 loss at Saint Louis University on Nov. 27. The Jaguars nearly erased a 15-point deficit but had a pair of potential game-tying shots miss in the final eight seconds.
IUPUI defeated IU East 98-67 in November of 2009. The matchup was a regular season contest for the Jaguars and an exhibition for the Red Wolves.
The Jaguars won the lone meeting between the schools considered by IU East to be a regular season matchup since the Red Wolves joined the NAIA in 2007.
IUPUI lists the all-time series as 7-4 in favor of the Jaguars, a tally that includes nine matchups between 1972 and 1976.
SCOUTING THE OPPOSITION
IUPUI is off to a 2-4 start, with two of the losses against teams ranked in one of the NCAA Division I top 25 polls (Gonzaga University and San Diego State University).
The Jaguars were picked to finish third in the Summit League preseason poll.
Junior wing Alex Young leads IUPUI with 17.2 points and 6.7 rebounds per game.
Senior wing Leroy Nobles adds 12.5 points and 5.2 rebounds per game.
Nobles scored 23 points against IU East last season.

It's a homecoming game for IU East's Indy natives, senior guard Brent Burris (Indianapolis, Ind./Home school), junior guard David Sanders (Indianapolis, Ind./Beech Grove High School) and freshman forward Bakari Smith (Indianapolis, Ind./George Washington High School).
Senior guard Tyler Rigby (Bryant, Ind./Jay County High School) led IU East with 23 points against IUPUI last season.

NUMBERS OF NOTE
This will be the third appearance in three days for the Red Wolves.
IU East last played on three consecutive days on Nov. 13-14-15 in 2008, winning three games in a row at the Kentucky Christian University Super 8 Classic.
