Broadcast Information

Indiana University East athletics competitions are broadcast through a variety of radio, television and online mediums.

COMING EVENTS

The 2010 fall premiere of the weekly "Inside IU East Sports" show is scheduled to air Friday, Sept. 3 at 8:30 p.m. on WCTV, Comcast Channel 20.

Red Wolves Athletic Director Mark Hester, new IU East track and field head coach and men's basketball assistant Tyler Daugherty, and volleyball players Lauren Crump and Breezy Strete are featured on the Sept. 3 episode.

"Inside IU East Sports" will appear on Tuesday, Sept. 7 at 11 a.m. and Wednesday, Sept. 8 at 1 p.m. on the Hometown Sports Network, Comcast Channel 81.

Additional broadcasts are scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 4 at 12:30 a.m., 4:30 a.m., 8:30 a.m., 12:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. on WCTV, Comcast Channel 20.

IU East fans now can get score updates sent to their cell phone during the game. Just text FOLLOW IUESCORES to 40404. Updates will be sent midway through each half, at halftime and after the game.

NEWSTALK 930 WHON-AM RADIO

NewsTalk 930 WHON-AM aired live broadcasts of 20 IU East men's basketball games during the 2009-10 season. Check back here for the 2010-11 schedule!

WHITEWATER COMMUNITY TELEVISION

Whitewater Community Television (WCTV), Comcast Channel 20, carries broadcasts of IU East volleyball and basketball games and is a home of the weekly "Inside IU East Sports" show. IU East student Adam Derengowski (left, with Red Wolves volleyball coach Charlie Brown) handles play-by-play for Red Wolves volleyball telecasts and also serves as host of "Inside IU East Sports"

IU East received the 2009 Channel 20 "Producer of the Year" award from WCTV.

IU East was honored for the "Inside IU East Sports" weekly television show and telecasts of Red Wolves sporting events.

Channel 20 is WCTV's Educational Access Television channel.

The "Red Wolves Rundown," the predecessor to "Inside IU East Sports," was WCTV's program of the year for 2008.

The Hometown Sports Network, Comcast Channel 81, is a home of the weekly "Inside IU East Sports" show and will air Red Wolves volleyball and basketball contests during the 2010-11 school year. The Hometown Sports Netowrk is available to about 500,000 households in Indiana. IU East student Adam Derengowski handles play-by-play for Red Wolves volleyball telecasts and also serves as host of "Inside IU East Sports"
