2010-11 Indiana University East Dance Team
New Indiana University East dance team coach Jenny Fralick has announced tryout dates for the 2010-11 school year.
Dance team tryout clinics will be held Thursday, Sept. 9 from 6 to 8 p.m. and Friday, Sept. 10 from 2 to 4 p.m.
Final tryouts will be Saturday, Sept. 11 at 10 a.m.
Skills to be performed at auditions include, but are not limited to, a jazz/stylized routine, a hip-hop/funk routine, double turn, leaps and a toe touch.
The routines will be taught at the clinics. The double turn, leaps and toe touch will be demonstrated.
All persons interested in trying out for the 2010-2011 Indiana University East Dance Team must fill out an application and selection agreement have a physical completed no later than September 3:

A medical release form also will be required.
Practices tentatively will be Mondays and Thursdays from 6 to 9 p.m. As the season progresses practices may be shortened to 6-8 p.m.. Extra practices may be called at certain times as needed.
