HIGH SCHOOL: As a senior at Merrillville (Ind.) High School averaged 11.8 points per contest and 7.5 rebounds a game for the Pirates … was a member of the Indiana Basketball Coaches Association Senior Honorable Mention All-State Team … an all-conference performer and was also selected to the all-area second team by the Times of Northwest Indiana.
