Men's Basketball: Ohio Christian 82, IU East 65

RICHMOND, Ind. - The Indiana University East men's basketball team dropped an 82-65 River States Conference contest to Ohio Christian University on Tuesday, Jan. 23.

IU East is now 6-13 overall with a 2-6 mark in the conference. Ohio Christian is 9-11 and 5-5.

Ibra Athie topped the Red Wolves with 19 points in the league matchup on Lingle Court.

Colt Meyer finished with 15 points as Jake Johnson contributed 12 points.

The contest was tight in the first half as the Trailblazers led 34-32 at the intermission. Ohio Christian was able to pull away in the second period. 

Next up for IU East is a home contest versus the University of Rio Grande on Saturday, Jan. 27. The RSC game begins at 3 p.m.
