Men's Basketball: UHSP at IU East Preview

RICHMOND, Ind. - The Indiana University East men's basketball team plays its final home game of 2024 as the Red Wolves entertain the University of Health Sciences & Pharmacy in St. Louis on Friday, Dec. 20.

The contest on Lingle Court gets underway at 5 p.m.

IU East is 5-6 with the Red Wolves coming off a 121-115 double overtime loss to Taylor University on Tuesday, Dec. 17.

UHSP is 5-8 overall with an 0-6 mark in the American Midwest Conference. The Eutectics fell 73-69 at home to Bethel University of Tennessee earlier this week.

* IU East is unbeaten in seven contests with UHSP, which was formerly known as the St. Louis College of Pharmacy.

* The Red Wolves won the last game between the two schools 89-65 in St. Louis on Nov. 5, 2022.

* Antuane Allen had a career-high 35 points for the Red Wolves against Taylor as four others Jake Johnson (30), Kyle Tolbert (24), Trent Johnson (13) and Caleb Maurer (11) also scored in double figures.

* Ahian Barnett leads the Eutectics in scoring at 15.9 points per game, while Jasmin Suvalija tosses in 12.8 a contest.

* Suvalija topped UHSP with 17 points versus Bethel as he made five 3-pointers.
