Men's Golf: Weekend preview

RICHMOND, Ind. - The Indiana University East men's golf team opens the spring with a trip to Lawrence Technological University's Heritage Hill Collegiate on March 25-26.

The two-day tournament is at the Heritage Hill Golf Club in Shepherdsville, Ky.

"Heading into my third spring season, I feel this is the most prepared and most confident group we've had," IU East coach Jeff Williams said. "We were able to take advantage of some unexpectedly good early weather to get some quality golf in. Our expectations are high, so let's tee it up."

Saturday's shotgun start begins at 9 a.m. On Sunday, play begins at 10 a.m.

Heritage Hill Golf Club is located at 1050 Valley View Drive in Shepherdsville, Ky.

YOU OUGHT TO KNOW

* This event is the first tournament this spring for the Red Wolves.

* Jake Miller was medalist for IU East at the River States Conference Fall Preview on Tuesday, Sept. 27, 2022.

* Miller finished with a 70-75-145 during the RSC Fall Preview at the Belterra Resort, while Austin Shelley (78-78-156, 9th) also finished in the top 10.

* IU East was second of 11 teams in the fall preview with a 314-315-629.
