Men's Golf: Weekend Preview

RICHMOND, Ind. - The Indiana University East men's golf team is back in action with a short trip to the Purgatory Intercollegiate in Noblesville, Ind.

Taylor University is the host school for the two-day event that gets underway on March 31.

The Red Wolves will tee off on the opening day with a shotgun start at noon.

YOU OUGHT TO KNOW

* This is IU East's third time competing at Purgatory, with the other events in 2019 and 2021.

* Jake Miller was named the River States Conference Men's Golfer of the Week after he made the all-tournament team at the Heritage Hill Collegiate in Kentucky last weekend. Miller finished in a tie for third with a 76-72-69-217.

* The Red Wolves were finished fifth out of 11 teams in the 54-hole event on the Heritage Hill Golf Club course with a score of 313-309-294-916.
