Golf: IU East at Midway Eagle Invitational

RICHMOND, Ind. - Both of Indiana University East golf team are headed Kentucky for the Midway University Eagle Invitational on April 3-4.

The two-day event is on the Big Blue Course at the University Club of Kentucky in Lexington. The Red Wolves are scheduled to tee off on Monday at 10:04 a.m.

IU East's women's squad starts on the first hole, while the men begin at No. 10.

Women's Tee Times: Josalyn Lewis (10:04), Katie Craig (10:12), Jalyn Bruns (10:20), Brooklynn Cromwell (10:28) and Annie Gillock (10:36).

Men's Tee Times: Sam Roberts (10:04), Bailey Moistner (10:12), Alex Beatty (10:20), Emiliano Tercero (10:28), Austin Shelley (10:36), Sam Firebaugh (10:44) and Jake Miller (10:52).

YOU OUGHT TO KNOW

* IU East's men were fifth out of 13 teams after the first day at the Purgatory Intercollegiate in Noblesville over the weekend before the final round was cancelled due to windy conditions.

* Miller was named the River States Conference Men's Golfer of the Week on March 28.

* At the most recent women's tournament also in Kentucky, IU East was second at the Heritage Hill Collegiate in Shepherdsville on March 26.

* Cromwell finished second to make the all-tournament squad with an 84-82-83-249.
