Red Wolves Finish Sixth in Players Club Invitational

YORKTOWN, Ind. – The IU East men's golf team finished sixth out of 16 teams in The Players Club Invitational on Tuesday.

Freshman Will Barnes led the Red Wolves with the lowest score in the three rounds with 1-over 217. He carded a 1-under after the first round and back-to-back 73s. He finished in 11^th place. Sam Firebaugh was right behind him in 13^th. He shot a team-best 69 on the final round and finished 3-over for the tournament.

Jake Miller finished in 19^th place for the Red Wolves after shotting 76-70-76. Emiliano Tercero finished in 77-77-76, good for 63^rd. Austin Shelley (67^th, 71-84-76), Dillon Letendre (78^th, 80-77-78) and Alex Beatty (88^th, 84-77-80) rounded out the Red Wolf golfers for the tournament.

IU East will be back on the course this Saturday at Forest Hills.
