Men's Golf: Cofer Joins Pack

RICHMOND, Ind. – New Palestine High School's Luke Cofer has signed to join the Indiana University East men's golf team in the fall of 2026.

"We're excited to have Luke become a member of our Pack," IU East coach Jeff Williams said.  "An outstanding young man that has all tools to compete for a top of the order spot as soon as he walks on campus."

Last spring, Cofer won the Hancock County individual title in a playoff as he carded a 36 in regulation at Hawk's Trail.

In the 2025 Greenfield Central Sectional also played at Hawk's Trail, Cofer led the Dragons with a 74 to finish second on the individual leaderboard as his team qualified for the regional.
