Men's Golf: IU East at Midway Eagle Invitational Preview

RICHMOND, Ind. - The Indiana University East golf men's golf team heads back to Kentucky to take part in the Midway University Eagle Invitational on March 30-31.

The two-day affair on the Blue Course at the University Club in Lexington is scheduled to start on Monday at 8:30 a.m.

IU East's lineup is Sam Firebaugh, Noah Mulford, Landon True, Dare Bowles and Kylan Nash with Nick Brubaker playing as an individual.

The other teams in the tournament are Bethel University, Brescia University, Huntington University, IU Kokomo, Kentucky State University, Marian University, Mount Vernon Nazarene University, St. Mary-of-the-Woods College and Truett McConnell University.

* IU East is coming off a victory at the Alice Lloyd College Spring Invitational on Sunday, March 22.

* The Red Wolves had a team score of 280-282-562 at the Battlefield Golf Club, Richmond, Kentucky.

* Dare Bowles (72-67-139, second), Sam Firebaugh (68-72-140, third), Noah Mulford (69-72-141, fourth) and Landon True (71-71-142, tie fifth) were on the all-tournament team at the Alice Lloyd Spring Invitational.
