Men's Golf: IU East at Hampton Farms Intercollegiate Preview

RICHMOND, Ind. - North Carolina is the site of the upcoming tournament for the Indiana University East men's golf team on April 6-7.

The Red Wolves are taking part in the Hampton Farms Intercollegiate at Beechwood Country Club in Ahoskie.

IU East's lineup for the 54-hole event is Sam Firebaugh, Noah Mulford, Landon True, Dare Bowles and Kylan Nash.

Monday's two rounds get underway with a shotgun start at 9 a.m. The final round is set for Tuesday with the tee times to be determined.

The host school is Chowan University, while the other teams are Barton University, Cedarville University, Elizabeth City State University, Fayetteville State University, Mid-Atlantic Christian University, Southern Wesleyan University, Virginia Union University and the University of Mount Olive.

* IU East finished third out of 11 teams at the Midway University Eagle Invitational on March 31.

* Sam Firebaugh led the Red Wolves with a two-day total of 78-73-151 to tie for seventh.

* The other scores for IU East were Landon True (75-79-154, 14th), Dare Bowles (78-77-155, T15th), Noah Mulford (82-76-158, 24th), Nick Brubaker (74-86-160, T26th) and Kylan Nash (81-82-163, 34th).
