Men's Soccer: IU East at Rio Grande Preview

RICHMOND, Ind. - The Indiana University East men's soccer team travels to the University of Rio Grande as the Red Wolves open play in the River States Conference on Saturday, Sept. 23.

The affair on the Evan Davis Soccer Field starts at 7 p.m.

IU East (2-6) has won two straight defeating Great Lakes Christian College 4-0 and the University of Cincinnati–Clermont 3-0 last week.

Rio Grande is 4-1-1 overall with a 2-1 league record after beating Shawnee State University 2-1 on Thursday, Sept. 21.

* IU East goalkeepers Peter Lamprou and Alex Visscher each played one half against UC-Clermont with both recording three saves.

* Altan Sayar and Benjamin Cam Orellan both scored for Rio Grande against Shawnee State.
