EATON, Ohio - A penalty kick was the difference as the Indiana University East men's soccer team fell 1-0 to Point Park University on Saturday, Sept. 30.
Philipp Harder got a kick past IU East goalie Peter Lamprou at the 68:45 mark of the River States Conference match at Eaton (Ohio) High School.
IU East is now 3-8 overall and 1-2 in the RSC. Point Park is 5-3-2, 2-0-0.
Lamprou had six saves for IU East in the second half. Alex Visscher recorded four saves in the first half.
The Red Wolves entertain new conference foe Shawnee State University on Thursday, Oct. 5. The contest at Centerville High School is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
