Red Wolves and Brescia Play to Draw in Men's Soccer

EATON, Ohio - The Indiana University East men's soccer team played to a 3-3 draw with Brescia University on Saturday, Oct. 14.

The Red Wolves are 3-10-1 and 1-4-1 in the River States Conference. Brescia is 1-12-1, 1-5-1.

Brescia grabbed a 1-0 advantage in the opening half at Eaton (Ohio) High School before the Red Wolves answered in the second period.

Hoi Lian scored an unassisted goal at 62:46 before finding the back of the net a second time with 68:50 on the clock. Dillon Gross and Vince Brown assisted on the play.

Moments later the Bearcats tied the affair, but the Red Wolves responded.

Brown gave IU East a 3-2 lead at 70:40 with an assist from Tyree Hyman.

The Bearcats tied the match with just under three minutes remaining.

Alex Visscher had two saves in goal for the Red Wolves, while Peter Lamprou also recorded a pair of stops.

Next up for IU East is a visit to Ohio Christian University on Thursday, Oct. 19. The conference contest gets underway at 3:30 p.m.
