Visscher Tabbed as Assistant Men's Soccer Coach

RICHMOND, Ind. – Men's Soccer head coach Dalton Clement has announced the hiring of standout goalkeeper Alex Visscher as the new assistant coach heading into the 2024 season.

"Having played here for 3 years was an amazing experience, so I wanted to stick around to help Coach Clement and give our athletes a great experience playing here," Visscher said. " I would like to thank Coach Steve Moore for all of the opportunities he has given to me as a player over the years. I'd also like to thank Coach Clement for giving me the opportunity to take a big step into coaching as his assistant."

Visscher played three seasons at IU East starting in 30 games for the Red Wolves. In his first season for IU East, he was named to the RSC First-Team.

"I look forward to giving an enjoyable experience to the players as well as experiencing life on the other side of the touchline," Visscher said.
