Tennis: IU East at Miami-Middletown and Wittenberg Preview
RICHMOND, Ind. - The Indiana University East tennis teams are back in action over the next few days with a pair of road trips.
First up for the Red Wolves is a visit to Miami University-Middletown on Saturday, Sept. 23. The non-conference contests are scheduled to begin at 1 p.m.
On Monday, Sept. 25, IU East faces Wittenberg University at 4:30 p.m.
IU East resumes its dual matches after the Red Wolves played in the 2023 River States Conference Fall Invitational in Evansville last weekend.
Linda Marino captured the No. 2 Singles women's title, while Francisco Faundez made it to the final match of the men's No. 1 Singles bracket.

Located in Springfield (Ohio), Wittenberg's Albright Tennis Complex is west of the HPER Center on campus near the intersection of the N. Lowry Ave. and Bill Edwards Dr.
The Miami-Middletown tennis courts are on the campus located near the Bennett Recreation Center, which has an address of 4200 N. University Boulevard, Middletown, OH 45042.

YOU OUGHT TO KNOW
* IU East's women are 2-0 this fall as the Red Wolves defeated Earlham College 9-0 and Ohio Northern University 5-4.
* On the men's side, IU East is 0-1 with a 7-2 loss at Ohio Northern.
* Wittenberg competes in the North Coast Athletic Conference, which is NCAA Div. III.
* This is the second match of the fall for both Miami-Middletown squads. The men beat Earlham 9-0, while the women's team defeated the Quakers 8-1.
