Men's Tennis: IU East 6, Alma 1

ALMA, Mich. - The Indiana University East men's tennis team won its second straight match with a 6-1 non-conference victory at Alma College on Saturday, March 21.

The Red Wolves are now 6-9 overall and 1-0 in the River States Conference after a 7-0 win at Shawnee State University on Friday night. Alma falls to 1-7.

IU East began the contest by sweeping the doubles matches as the teams of Andrea Klaric/Sanchin Vanaraja (No. 1), Juan Diego Balao/Jace Wilkerson (No. 2) and Connor Burk/Bryce Wennen (No. 3) were all victorious on the Superior Street Tennis Courts.

In singles action, the Red Wolves winning were Vanaraja (No. 1), Klaric (No. 2), Balao (No. 3), Burk (No. 5) and Clay Connor (No. 6).

Next up for IU East is a trip to Midway University on Friday, March 27.
