Track & Field: Good Friday Invitational Recap
FT. WAYNE, Ind. - Three school records were broken as the Indiana University East outdoor track and field teams competed in the Good Friday Invitational at Indiana Tech on April 7.
Richard Bower led the Red Wolves as he set a school record to finish second in the 3,000-meter steeplechase with a 10:15.80 at Warrior Park.
Teagen Rodriguez surpassed the men's 1,500-meter run standard with a time of 4:06.26 as he was fifth.
Brooke Sudhoff was fourth in pole vault clearing 3.20 meters to set a new IU East women's mark in that event.
Maddy Wolf topped the women's squad with a third-place finish in the 3,000-meter steeplechase with a time of 13:03.58. Reanna Stinson was sixth in high jump with a height of 1.49 meters.
Chance Klipstine rounded out the top eight finishes as he was seventh in 800 meters with a 1:59.20.
IU East returns to action at the Gibson Invitational at Indiana State University on Thursday, April 13.
