Ty'Shaun Williams Closes Out Successful Season for Red Wolves Track and Field
MARION, Ind. – Ty'Shaun Williams finished in 27th place in the shot put at the NAIA Track and Field National Championship Friday.
Ty finished up his day with his longest throw on the third attempt with a mark of 14.27m. He increased gradually in the three throws. The 14.27m mark was further than his attempt in the RSC Tournament by .05m.
The Red Wolves conclude a terrific outdoor season with three members reaching the National Championship meet. Cameron Nocton was named an All-American in the race-walk and Rex Kirchenstien placed well as a freshman in the decathlon.
