Men's Volleyball: IU East 3, Midway 0

MIDWAY, Ky. - Three in a row for the Indiana University East men's volleyball team.

The Red Wolves won their River States Conference opener with a 25-22, 25-27, 25-18 decision in Marshall Gymnasium at Midway University on Thursday, Feb. 5

IU East is now 3-0 and 1-0 in the league, while the Eagles are 0-7, 0-1.

Wyatt King led IU East with 11 kills and five blocks as Jael De La Cruz finished with eight kills.

Vinicius Lopes added five kills and three service aces for the Red Wolves. Gideon Nelson also had five kills.

Brayden Richardson had 18 assists with Francis Rivera Agosto contributing eight digs.

Next up for the Red Wolves trip to Governors State University in Illinois on Tuesday, Feb. 17. The contest is scheduled for 7 p.m. (IU East time).
